A 53-year-old woman spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about how she transformed her face with a simple cosmetic procedure, noticing an “instant improvement”.
Andrea Walker, 53, noticed that as she was getting older her “face started to go south slightly”, so decided to go for some anti-ageing non-surgical treatments.
She started off with botox and then progressed to fillers, all under the administration of Dr Olha at the Cosmetic Centre in Nottingham.

Andrea Walker, 53, noticed that as she was getting older her “face started to go south slightly”, so decided to go for some anti-ageing non-surgical treatments.
She started off with botox and then progressed to fillers, all under the administration of Dr Olha at the Cosmetic Centre in Nottingham.
Andrea told Express.co.uk: “And then I just started to see a massive change in the lower half of my face.
“As we get older, we start to lose elasticity. And my face started to just go south slightly so I wasn’t happy with it.”
Dr Olha then recommended that Andrea go for some Silhouette Soft, which she said would be “less harsh than traditional threads”.
Speaking candidly about the procedure she said: “It was slightly uncomfortable and you can feel the threads, but it doesn’t hurt whilst you’re having it done because your face is numbed.
“Afterwards when the numbing cream wears off, you might get slightly sore for a couple of hours or a day or two. But overall, it wasn’t really bad at all.”
The results of the procedure were almost instant for Andrea and it has totally transformed her confidence – “it’s made a massive difference to the way I feel when I look in the mirror now”.
“It’s just really taken ten years off my face shape. It has tightened up my jowl area and my cheeks – it has lifted them, so if you look at me now, you wouldn’t know that I’ve had anything done.
And the results positive results will be ongoing: “I think in another three months we should be pretty much there with it.
“Not only does it lift your skin and lift your face, it enhances your collagen levels as well. So, you’re producing more collagen as the months go by which obviously fills your face back out.”
